Hi I'm Lynn

I grew up in the mountain west of the U.S.. I write software for UNIX systems. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from high school in a small town in northern California. I went to college at Ricks in Rexburg ID, where I was a performing arts major. I served a 2 year mission in Arizona then attended BYU where I majored in computer information systems and business. I also attended Weber State College and Arizona State University. I married in 1980 and my wife and I have 4 children 1 boy and 3 girls. I've been married for 31 years. Professionally I have been doing UNIX computer consulting for most of my career, mostly for Fortune 100 companies where I have had many very interesting experiences, and experienced first hand the corruption that is taking place in the world. I enjoy the out of doors, camping, hiking, snow skiing, & rock climbing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church and have been a member all of my life. I have gained a testimony of the truthfulness of the doctrines and teachings of Jesus Christ through many experiences that have demonstrated to me that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only completely true church on the face of the earth. It is the only church in all the world that has the same authority that Jesus Christ gave his ancient apostles.

How I live my faith

I have done a lot of different things and served in various capacities in the LDS church over the years. I currently serve as a preparedness specialist. In this role I teach the people of my local congregation how to be prepared for emergencies, and keep track of those with special needs so they can be looked after in times of emergencies.
