Hi I'm Gary

I'm a certified software trainer who teaches in Denver. Military used to be my life, jumping out of airplanes.

About Me

I'm a dad of 13. Teaching software is what brings the bread home for our family. The church helps every part of our life. We just came back from a youth activity for your 16 year old daughter. They grow up so fast. The church is focused on the family, and we have a lot of family. Our family did not come easy. My first died in childbirth, the son that came from the birth lived. He is a great blessing to our lives. He did come to us with some challenges, he is 7 turning 8. He was diagnosed at the age of 3 with autism and at 2 with cerebral palsy. This left me with 8 children in the home and no mom. I can testify to you that God lives. I sometimes felt angles with their hands on me. God lives! The blessings which come from life's challenges are overwhelming sometime. With in a year I was engaged to a wonderful woman who as an angel stepped into our lives. With her came 4 more children, which were thankfully all grown up and out of the house. One of mine had already moved on so that made the 13th. My family and church are my hobbies. If you were to ask me if I was a 'normal' Mormon I would say no. My whole life I have taken everything to the extreme. When I was younger I did server a mission for my church. But not at the normal age of 19. I did not serve my mission till I was 25-26. I served in Philadelphia PA and the surrounding area in PA. Before that I was a US Army Ranger, in the then called 2/75 Ranger BN in Ft Lewis WA. I feel I have lived and love life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon due to living prophets, The book of Mormon, asking God if its true, and receiving answers prayers. Life is a journey and our Heavenly Father wants us to have freedom to choose, right or wrong. I look at is as journey to find salvation. Each person wakes up and finds his path for that day, which days build our lives. I'm a Mormon or as I like to correct people. A member of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I'm a member of Christ's church in these latter days. I am also a mormon due to prophets. I ask my friends a simple question. When in the time of man have we needed prophets more then we have needed today? Most people when they hear that question have to pause and think. We have a prophet in charge of our church to lead us and guide us in the pathways of righteous. Remember what our savior said, 'By the

How I live my faith

I help in our local church, by helping with Eagle scout advancement. Our church greatly supports Boy Scouts. I myself am an Eagle Scout. I now get to help your understand all the paper work and planning which is needed to prepare for their Eagle scout advancement.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Gary
The book of Mormon was written by prophets of old, who came from the Holy Land in Jerusalem to live here in North and South America. It is written over a timeline of over 1000 years. They kept records these records were then compiled, by men of their time, they were written in their language. These records were then sealed up in the earth to come to man in a time when needed most. The record which I speak was then removed from the ground and translated by Joseph Smith to bring us the book of Mormon. The best part of this story is, I don't want you to believe me, I want you to pray about it. Its a story prepared by the Lord, He will confirm it to you. If you take the time to read, kneel, and pray, He will bless you with the knowledge to know of its truth. May God bless you and yours! Show more Show less
