Hi I'm Cole.

I'm an international businessman with Boeing. I study languages and love hiking. I do my best to follow Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to connect with people in other cultures so I study languages and travel internationally as often as possible. My first foreign experience was being sent as a missionary to Guadalajara, Mexico. Those two years endeared me to the Mexican people and their culture. That love encouraged later studies in Russian, Japanese and Chinese Mandarin, and a career in international business. In my free time, I have enjoyed writing fiction for screenplay and novels. As a family we enjoy mountain climbing and less aggressive hikes.

Why I am a Mormon

As a husband, father of four, and grandfather of six, having a sense of purpose and belonging has become increasingly important to me. Thirty years with my adorable wife makes me determined to live with her beyond death. For that reason, I married my wife in a Mormon Temple where it was not spoken, "'til death do you part." I have faith that if I live as Christ has asked, I can live with my family after death and that hope is a driving force in my effort to keep the commandments and my obligations to God. Basically, that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

As a Red Cross volunteer, I am certified as an emergency shelter manager. When disaster strikes, whether in our region or with an individual family, I am prepared to help. Additionally, each year we have contributed to service projects to clean up our city from landscaping gone wild. Recently my wife and I helped organize and lead a youth conference for over 150 youth in our community. It provided a rewarding opportunity to share lessons I've learned and coach their futures.
