Hi I'm Marcela

I was born in Mexico from good parents. I'm a mother and wife to my best friend. I love my family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Atlanta for about 3 years. I'm married to my high school sweetheart for 15 years and we have one daughter of 6. I like to go to the movies, enjoy life with my family and play basketball. One of my hobbies is doing crafts. I have a good sense of humor and like to make other people laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I learned the gospel since I was little when the missionaries came to my house and taught my mother and siblings. I was baptized when I turned 8 years old. I know that I'm in the true church because we have a living prophet and I believe this is the same church established by Jesus Christ. I know the Book of Mormon is true and it's the most perfect book on Earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day when we pray together as a family, every morning and before we go to bed. I'm so grateful for all we have. I also pray to know whom to help and always I try to do to others what I would like them to do to me. I love to serve the sisters at mi chruch where I can help teach them how to improve skills they can apply in their own lives and their families. I also like to organize sports' activities for the women.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Marcela
I learned in my grade school that the god Quetzalcoatl or Kukulkan was a white and bearded person that came to teach my ancestors and asked them to keep a record of the teachings. When I read the Book of Mormon for the first time I was able to understand that this leyend was true. That's the reason why my ancestors received the spanish conquerors like a god and gave them presents and gave Hernan Cortez the welcome as the king thinking that he was Quetzalcoatl that was returning as he had promesed.
