In whom should we have faith?

•Official Church Answer In order to come closer to Heavenly Father and receive all the blessings that He has for you, you must first develop faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Apostle Peter taught that “there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Faith in God is more than a theoretical belief in Him. To have faith in God is to trust Him, to have confidence in Him, and to be willing to act on your belief in Him. It is a principle of action and power. • Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His program to acquire the power to achieve. • Repentance to rectify the consequences of mistakes of omission or commission. • Obedience to the commandments of the Lord to provide strength and direction in our lives. • Selfless service to enrich the lives of others.
