Hi I'm Nathan

I write music. I enjoy the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a remarkable wife and 3 wonderful children. I work as an administrator in a health care facility and I love what I do. Like most, I have more hobbies than time. I enjoy fishing with my kids and watching their faces light up when they hook a monster four-inch bluegill. I love playing tennis with my sweetheart. I make time to catch a glimpse of a colorful sunset. I love to compose music and could spend hours at the piano or with the guitar. I love to be alive.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that God, our Father in Heaven, loves all of us dearly. I know he loves me. As his child, he wants me to grow, learn, succeed, and ultimately, become like him. Because I fall short in so many ways, he sent his son, Jesus Christ, to help me find my way home. Not only has he given me the perfect example to follow, through his ultimate sacrifice, he has given me power to overcome death and the choice to overcome sin. I know he is my Savior. He has established his church again on the earth today. I know this is true. The fulness of all of the blessings of our Father in Heaven, can be realized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is part of who I am. It influences all aspects of my life. Its teachings help me to be a better husband and father. It gives me strength to live a life of honesty and integrity. It helps me to see others around me as children of God. It gives me power to cope with the challenges of this life. It gives me the opportunity to serve and share my talents for the benefit of others. It allows me to contribute, in my own way, to the cause of the gospel of Jesus Christ. In short, it helps me understand the purpose of this life, and what it's really about. And for me, that understanding changes everything.
