Hi I'm Chris

I'm an architect, father of 3 boys, husband to one spectacular wife. I live in Nebraska. I am a Husker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an architect and love the opportunity it affords me to use my artistic talents to create places for people to live, work and play. I am a son of educators, and teachnig others about architecture is something I truly enjoy. I am a fan of many sports, first and foremost a Nebraska Cornhusker football fan and season ticket holder. I have a goal to visit every major league baseball park, and have been to about half so far. I am also a hockey dad, and enjoy traveling with my oldest son to his tournaments throughout the Midwest. Some of my hobbies include traveling, photography, camping, and grilling.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a second generation latter-day saint. I was baptized by my dad on my 8th birthday, however I wasn't truly converted until I was a teen. I had always known that the teachings rang true, and it was through the course of sharing this with my friends, and being peppered with their questions, that I had to find out for myself if what my parents taught me was in fact true. Through faith in what I was taught, and action in following these teachings, and after reading the Book of Mormon and praying with real intent to know if this church was true, I received a feeling in my heart that was undeniable, that these teachings are of God. I am grateful to have been born again, and truly converted. This allowed me to serve a mission to Germany, and teach many of the joy of the restored gospel.

How I live my faith

I am currently a teacher of the youth at my church, and I have served in many other capacities from scouting to serving as a home teacher.
