Hi I'm Zach Snow
My name is Zach Snow, my friends call me frosty. I love the out doors. I am into all kinds of sports and all kinds of music. I am served my mission in Florida Tallahassee. I am a big fan of basketball and football. I ride and race motorcycles. I am a bit of a computer nut, I understand a lot about computers. I love watching movies. American Muscle cars are the best cars ever. I am a people person, I always try to make everyone happy. I was born here in Utah, then we moved to California for 7 or 8 years, and now back here in Utah. I am second oldest of 5 kids. I enjoy being with friends and around people, but having quiet time is always very nice. I graduated from Layton High School and I plan on attending college as soon as I get back from my mission. I am overall a very nice person!
Why I am a Mormon
I am a Mormon for many different reasons. I love this gospel. I am on a mission. The Book of Mormon is awesome. I want to have my eternal salvation with the ones that I love. The spirit amazing and will really guide your life in making the right decisions and choosing the right pathways. I will always follow Him in this gospel because it has blessed my life in so many ways that I could not list them all right now. In closing, I know that this church is true, I know that Joseph Smith did see God and His Son and that he did resort this gospel to us. How grateful I am for his prayer in the grove that showed us the way back to eternal salvation. I overall love this church, the people who are in it, are prophet, and our Heavenly Father.
How does making right choices help us make more right choices?
To me that is almost like a little kid asking his mom if he can say out.. She says yes, but be home by 10 P.M... If he comes home on time he will receive more freedom, but if he is late then he receives more restrictions. As we do what our Heavenly Father wants us to do, He blesses us in many ways. Because we receive blessing we are compelled to do more and receive more blessing. So on and so forth..
Please explain the part prayer plays in your life?
Prayer to me is very important.. It has made me come to realize that I do have a Heavenly Father, He loves me, and He will answer me. The confirming witnesses you can and do receive from prayers is amazing and will teach us all things that we need to know.
How has The Book of Mormon helped you understand the purpose of life?
It has helped me in many different ways. For instance, Alma 34:32 talks a lot about our purpose in life as well as Moses 1:39 explains God's purpose for us. The Book of Mormon has helped me see the final goal of salvation and living with my Father in heaven. It brings a lot of peace in my life and gives me a sense of direction.
How has your knowledge of the Plan of Happiness changed/benefited your life?
The Plan of Happiness or the Plan of Salvation has changed my life in many different ways. As I have come to realize the answer to the 3 questions of the soul.. "Where did I come from? Why am I here? And where am I going?" it has made me very happy. I don't fear leaving this life and I don't fear the after life, I know that it will be a wonderful thing and that alone has changed my life.
Please share your feelings/testimony of Joseph Smith.
Joseph Smith to me was one of the greatest men ever to walk the Earth. He set a example. He restored the true church. He endured many many afflictions. He held strong to the rod. He had a unwavering Faith. He was only a "farm boy." He was over all a really good person. I have come to notice him and love him as my brother. I know he did see God and Jesus Christ that day in a shady wood of trees and restored the church. I hope to one day be has great as he was and is.
How I live my faith
I live my faith by going to church. By going on a mission to serve the Lord. By helping out in every way possible with this church. By accepting any and all callings. By loving the Lord, always sticking up for Him, and never turning Him away. By studying the Book of Mormon. Not judging for any reason. And many other ways including service, being as Christlike as possible, and loving as many people as possible.
