Hi I'm Victoria

I'm a Mormon and a Convert.

About Me

I'm a mom of two college students work full time. I am a widow but have been married twice. My late husband was a non denominational Christian and we never had an issue about religion. Two days before he passed he gave me permission to do his work, to have him baptized and confirmed as well as sealed to me for time and all Eternity. He understood then that families in fact can be together forever and that love that lasts a lifetime is great but having Eternal love and being with your spouse for Eternity is something that would be so awesom that we cannot even begin to fathom. I still am the happiest person I know.

Why I am a Mormon

In 1999 Amy, Jamie and Brooke rang my bell in Ecuador. It was pouring out and that is the only reason I let them in. A couple of years later I joined the Church. After I knew in my heart that the Church was true I was still not going to join. It was just what I thought too much hassle. Then He spoke to me and told me to read the next verse of the Book of Mormon that was open on my lap. It was just what I needed to hear. Two weeks later I joined the Church and it was the best decision I've ever made.

How I live my faith

I have had a couple of callings in the Church the one I dreaded the most was probably the one that was best for me. I was given the calling to teach 4 & 5 year old children. I never thought I could do that, but with the help from Heavenly Father I hear I made a pretty good teacher. The kids who taught me are now 7 or 8 years old and always stop me on the hallway when they see me. It is so rewarding to see you are loved years after the calling was over.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?
