Hi I'm Amy

I was born & raised in Arizona. I am a wife & busy mom of 3 sons. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for almost 12 years. We have 3 sweet but very energetic sons who make me wish sometimes that we lived on a ranch or farm so they could run & run through fields instead of run & run through my small living room. I am blessed to be a stay at home mom but also watch kids for a couple friends. In my free time I love to read and do things as a family. I also love to go on dates with my hubby, snowboard, quad ride and dabble in sports even though I don't tend to be the MVP.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the church. My mom was a convert at the age of 19 and tried to make sure that I didn't take being a member and growing up in the church for granted. As a teen I found out for myself with a lot of desire and effort (prayer & reading) that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church on the earth. I have often wondered what my life would be like without my knowledge of the Gospel and it makes me appreciate it that much more. Together my husband and I are enjoying this crazy balancing act of being companions, parents, having careers & serving in the community and in the church. It is through centering our lives around the Savior and truly trying to live the Gospel each day that keeps us steady.

How I live my faith

The majority of my service in the church has been with the children of our ward; teaching them the Principles of the Gospel in a simple way for them to understand. I have been amazed at their knowledge, the simple Faith that they have and their humility and Love. I have learned from their example many times. I currently serve in Cub Scouts as a Bear Den Leader, with boys ages nine turning ten. They are definitely a group of rambunctious boys but they are just as strong spirited on the inside. I firmly believe that these boys through scouts and learning & living the gospel will have a better chance at surviving the many evils of our day. No matter where I serve I know that as I do it whole heartedly, the Savior helps me be more effective as I serve and also blesses me in my personal life.
