Hi I'm Kevin Golden

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and a father living in the south. I am the Elders Quorum President in my home ward in the Dunwoody ward in the Atlanta Stake. We actually have the Atlanta Temple connected to our church parking lot. I am the Territory Sales Manager for Legacy Studios in the Atlanta area. We specialize in School photography from Pre-K to High School and Little League Sports. I enjoy almost all sports both as a spectator and a participant. Most of all I enjoy time with my beautiful wife and two year old son. My son is named Jude and my wife is named Asta. My son speaks Lithuanian and English. My wife is a convert from Lithuania her family still lives there. It is a long way from Atlanta Georgia her sister is interested in hearing the gospel but it is still unavailable in her city, but it will be one day. I know we can grow the church in this country in the near future.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it brings me closer to my savior Jesus Christ than any other religion. When I read and pray about the Book of Mormon I feel a peace inside my heart letting me know that it is true. This book gives me direction on how to return to my heavenly father. It helps me to be a better man, husband and father. I feel the spirit of the holy spirit as I attend church every Sunday. I feel that the gospel of Jesus Christ is taught in the Mormon faith and with this gospel all can Feel the love of our savior each day. I have been to other churches and felt great but only while attending or at the church. But as I live the mormon I feel closer to god each and everyday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be Christlike each and everyday. By reading the holy scriptures each day with myself and my wife. I find my faith increase daily through morning and evening prayers. Visiting and fellowshiping with other members of the church increases my love for the savior. I enjoy serving in the church and community when helping others I always seem to be the recipient of the largest gain from within. As I live the gospel I am the happiest compared to when I'm selfish with my time and talents.
