Hi I'm Kimber

I'm a college student studying landscape design, a ballroom dancer, a wife, and I'm Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student studying landscape design and absolutely love plants, flowers, and designing landscapes. The natural beauty we experience outdoors is just beautiful and love experiencing it everyday, no matter if it's a blooming flower, a fall leave, a sunset, or a snowflake. I love the heat of Arizona and hope to live there again someday. Whenever I visit I get snow cones everyday. I met my husband in a ballroom dance class and love everything about dancing. If there's a fun activity going on, plan on seeing us there. We love anything fun that can put a smile on our face (college football, nieces and nephews, snowboarding, etc) and are so very excited for what the future holds!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon has always been who I am. I was born and raised into a Mormon family and learned the teachings of Jesus Christ all growing up. When I was a teenager I always thought to myself "Is the Church really true?" "Can we really talk to God today?" "Is Joseph Smith a real prophet?" and each time I heard those doubts in my mind, I prayed and asked God if they were true and each time I was reassured through good feelings that it was all true. Don't we all want to be happy? My family is what makes me the happiest and I want to be with them for forever. With the gospel of Jesus Christ, this can be done. I look forward to the time I can be with my husband and family for all eternity and that is only possible because of the love and atonement of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have the unique opportunity to mix my education and religion in the same setting. I go to church with my friends, school with my friends, and hang out with those same friends. It's a way of life for me. I start each day with a prayer, praying it can both be a good day and that I can make someone's day better. Giving my time to others and helping others bring me one of my greatest joys in life. I also pray with my husband both morning and evening. Doing this helps brings unity to our marriage. I love that I can share my faith with my husband and someday, I'll get to share the beautiful gospel of Jesus Christ with my own children.
