Hi I'm Casey

I grew up in Wyoming. I am a student, husband, and want to be a dentist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play sports, video games, and play with my nieces and nephews. I'm attending college right now, am a husband and I'm planning on going to Dental School. I met my wife in college in a ball-room dance class and ever since we had our first date I knew this was a girl that I had to have. We have been married almost 2 years and plan on much longer! Football is a passion of mine ever since I played in high school and we won a state championship I have come to love a team atmosphere and I love to be apart of it. As my body gets older and decrepit I find myself longing for my younger self and those sport days back, however I can always find myself rooting on a team I like and being apart of the sporting atmosphere most definitely in our future kid's lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I had an experience where I was making some poor choices and not really progressing in life. As I sincerely wanted to do the right things and know what is right, I went to a church camp and was around other kids my age who were looking for the same answers in life. At this week long camp, I felt the spirit of the Lord tell me that the things I was learning are true. Joseph Smith was a Prophet, the church of Jesus Christ has been restored, the Book of Mormon is a true book, and there is a prophet on the earth today. I came to realize this all through prayer and it started at this church camp. I was able to teach other people about the experiences I have had for 2 years in Pennsylvania and found that by sharing the blessings I know to be true with others that it made me happy, but also, it made them happy. By seeing joy in others that I was able to help gives me a glimpse of what the Savior must have felt when people came unto him and he was able to help them.

How I live my faith

My wife and I have an assignment in our area to teach the 3 and 4 year olds at church about God, Families, principles like happiness, obedience, and other essential things that help them grow and progress through life. I have had opportunities to serve in the scouting program where I received my eagle scout and learned important things that have shaped my life today. Family is of huge importance in my life and I love to be with them. I can find myself going on a road trip that takes days to get to them, but we go and do it. Nephews and nieces are so fun and I can't get enough of them, I am glad I can be an example to them and teach them of my knowledge that Jesus Christ is our savior. This will be a great blessing in my children's lives as well. I feel that teaching our future generations about respect, honor, dilligence, and love are important. I hope by being a good person my faith is expressed in the way I live and will be seen in my future generations as well.
