Hi I'm Emily

I'm a daughter, aunt, and most importantly a wife. I love the outdoors, reading, and most of all my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 22 years old and have been married for 2 years. I currently work full-time while taking online classes and serving in my ward. I enjoy spending time with my many nieces and nephews and my sisters are my best friends. I love the outdoors and sports. I also enjoy to reading when I have spare time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was baptized at the age of 8 by my father. Growing up in the church, I gained a testimony based on that of my parents and older siblings. Around the age of 13, I gained a true testimony of the gospel for myself, and that is why I continue to live it myself. I have a testimony of my Savior, Jesus Christ, and of his plan of salvation. I know that it is only through Him that I can return to my Father in heaven. I know that Christ suffered for my sins, my temptations, and my heartaches. He felt everything I feel, and because of that, I am strengthened in Him. I also know that through this gospel, you can find happiness. Times in my life, when I am struggling, I know where to find peace. I know that if you pray to Heavenly Father, your prayers will be heard and answered. I am grateful for this knowledge and the joy it brings to me. I rejoice in the knowledge that there is life after death and that families are forever. It is that knowledge that keeps me strong in the gospel.

How I live my faith

I am young and have only been married for nearly 2 years. About 9 months ago, I was called to serve as the president in our Young Women Organization. It has been a great blessing to be able to serve my Heavenly Father by helping the youth gain their testimonies. I love my calling and the fact that I can impact the lives of others. I also love my calling because while I am trying to uplift my girls, I too am uplifted. My testimony grows in every lesson I teach, and every activity I plan. I am grateful to be able to serve in my ward and community and hope to continue to serve throughout my life. It helps me stay active and draw nearer to my Savior.
