Hi I'm Nate

I recently graduated from law school and am beginning a new career. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to travel. In fact, traveling is my favorite thing to do. It's my opinion that travel is the best way to learn about the world around you and all the amazing people that are in it. One of my other favorite pastimes is watching movies. I also think that snow skiing is the best sport in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. Being a Mormon is more than just going to church every once in a while--it's a lifestyle. It may seem like a lot to ask, but it's the way to find true and lasting happiness. I know that for myself. Maybe the best thing about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the LDS or "Mormon" Church) is that everyone can find out for herself/himself whether or not it's true. Everyone is entitled to ask God which Church is His church and He will provide an answer. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's church restored on the Earth today. I know that the church was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith, at the direction of Christ, and that the Book of Mormon is true. I invite you to find out for yourself either on your own or through contacting the missionaries.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life by following the example of Jesus Christ. Some days I do better than others, but I just try to do the best that I can.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Joseph Smith was a person who was called by God to be a prophet. Just as Moses, Noah, or Abraham in the Bible, Joseph was called to be a prophet and to restore Christ's Church on the Earth. After Joseph Smith's death, somone else was called to be the next prophet, and so on up until now. Today, Thomas Monson is the prophet. Show more Show less
