Hi I'm Kathleen

I'm a Mormon. I was born and raised in the church as were my parents and their parents and their parents.

About Me

I have been married for 30 years and have been a stay at home mom since our first child was born. I have never regretted staying home with my kids. I didn't have to work and never felt the need to work, both of which I am profoundly grateful. We didn't have the fanciest cars or house and definitely not the biggest toys but staying home with my kids and being there when they got home from school and attending all their activities is something we all are thankful for. I have 4 daughters and 2 sons. Our 4 girls have started their own families and our sons are filling missions for our church and receiving their education. I love to exercise ... ALOT! I like to run, hike, bike and lift weights. I love the ocean even though I live in the mountains. I live in a small town and love the pace of small town life. I have a scooter that I love to ride around to do my errands. I love to watch sports especially football, basketball and baseball.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I can't imagine living my life any other way! Being a Mormon helps me to be centered and helps keep my family focused on things that really matter and not what the world tells us matters. Being a Mormon, for me, brings safety and peace in a world of confusion and turmoil.

How I live my faith

I TRY to live my faith by attending my meetings and reading my scriptures. I try to be an influence for good in the lives of my children and grandchildren. I am in the presidency of our women's organization. I try to be kind and friendly to others.
