Hi I'm Will

I grew up in Ohio. I worked in the medical field for several years with the Native American population. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father and love to mountain bike and hike with my kids. I have volunteered as a soccer coach and enjoy supporting my kids in all of their extra curricular activities. I am happily married to "Super Woman". We laugh and cry together as we see our children grow and progress. I enjoy music and still play the piano--just happy that I can still read music. I also enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, whether that be in the mountains or along the seashores.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by loving and faithful Mormon parents in the midwest. There were not many Mormons in my hometown, but I always felt as though I was accepted for what I believed. My friends would not let me do anything that would have compromised my standards, even if I wanted to. I love the idea of "eternal families"--I can be with my family after we all die. There is so much happiness and joy that is associated with most families and it makes sense that we should be able to enjoy those same family relationships beyond the grave and not "until death do us part". I remember when I received a call one night from my Dad telling me that my Mom had passed away from her battle with cancer. She never let on to me how very sick she was, and so that news was devastating. I felt a huge void in my heart and in my soul as I thought about not hearing the voice of my ever-supportive Mom when I needed her. The reassurance that I could be with my Mom again after death brought hope and happiness to me. This is possible by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. That knowledge has much peace and comfort and prepared for my Father's death several years later.

How I live my faith

I actively support the youth programs of the church. The youth are involved in community service projects scouting (for the boys), and other activities and adventures. I have had the opportunity to be a teacher/advisor as well as a supporting parent for all of my children. I have also been involved in planning youth activities including dances, services projects and youth conferences.
