Hi I'm Bri.

I'm a photographer, a wife, and a 50's fashion enthusiast. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love photography, art, blogging, and 1950's fashion. I am the oldest of seven children. I married an army man in April 2010. We just recently finished school at Brigham Young University-Idaho and we are on to new adventures in our life together. I am excited to see where life takes us and even more excited to see the family we build with God.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the LDS church, but there came a point in my life when I had to ask myself, "Why do I belong to this church? Why is it important to me?" The answer to these questions came during a really hard time of my life. The truth is that I have come to know Jesus Christ and the healing power of His Atonement through the teachings of this church. There is hope and light in this gospel. I have learned that God knows His children and just like He sent prophets in old times, He has sent them today and will continue to send them to guide us. Being a member of this church means being a follower of Jesus Christ and spreading His message of peace. I am still learning every day how to be better and I know I am not perfect. But through Jesus Christ, I can do all things.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as a Mutual Night Specialist, which means I help with youth night activities for the teens in my ward. I also help substitute teach in the Primary program. So I occasionally step in and help teach the children in my church group. It is so amazing to teach the simple and beautiful principles of this gospel to the little ones. They also end up teaching me through their simple faith and understanding. It is wonderful having opportunity to serve.
