Hi I'm Susannah

I am a native Arizonan, a respite provider for children with special needs, I'm studying to become an RN, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born and raised in the lovely state of Arizona. I absolutely love it here! It's sun-shiny and happy three hundred and sixty days out of the entire year! I have the most amazing family, who has loved me and raised me to be the person I am today. From the time I was a young child I have loved helping those around me. The experiences that I had as a child helped me prepare for my life today. At the moment I am working as a respite provider for special needs children. These children bring so much happiness to my life. They are filled with such a perfect love and joy that it is almost impossible to describe the impact that they have had on my life. There is nothing more rewarding then helping a little child to learn and progress and then seeing their bright smile. I am currently going to school to become a pediatric nurse. I love the feeling that comes from helping people. I feel that this job is one way that I can become more like the Saviour, by helping people through their pain and on the path to healing. Life is wonderful! I love everything about it. I love being outside, taking hikes, watching sunsets, and dancing in the rain. I love experiencing new places and meeting new people. Isn't it exctiting when you meet someone who you can completely relate to? You don't even know them, but you love them anyways! I am so excited to continue through this exciting adventure called "life". I can't wait to be married someday in the temple and be the best wife and mother I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know without a doubt that my Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ, live and love me. My life has never been easy and I am not perfect by any means, but I have learned to trust in the healing powers of the Atonement. Through the Atonement not only are my sins and shortcomings washed away, but also my heartaches and sorrows. I know that I can kneel down in humble prayer and that my Heavenly Father will hear and answer me. This gospel brings me such comfort and happiness. I know that our Father in Heaven knows and loves each and every one of us. His love knows no boundaries. He is our Father and desires for us to be happy. Everything that he does is for our eternal happiness. He has restored this glorious gospel, once again upon the earth, through the prophet, Joseph Smith. I know with all of my heart that this gospel is true. This gospel heals hearts and homes. It brings families together and through the power of the priesthood, seals them for time and all eternity. I know that if we strive to become more like the Saviour and follow his teachings, that we may one day return to the presence of our Heavenly Father and live with our families for all eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to become more like the Saviour. Jesus Christ loves everyone, no matter who they are or what their circumstances may be. I have really strived to develop his attribute of perfect love in my life. I want to be able to see everyone as they really are, children of God. I know that I can be the answer to someone's prayer. It may be just as easy as a smile or asking how someone has been doing. Honestly, I have always longed for close friends, but I have learned that I can be the friend that someone needs. I can make a difference in the life of someone who is struggling or just needs to feel loved. I live my faith by loving others and serving them, because that's what Christ would do.
