Hi I'm Marla

I am wife, mother and grandmother. One of the favorite things I have done is teach classes for the Red Cross. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mother of three grown children. I have eight grandchildren. One granddaughter and 7 grandsons. My husband travels all over the United States with business and I travel with him as much as possible. We love to go on cruises. We have been to several foreign countries. My favorite sport to watch is football. Many of my family members have played college football and we have traveled to a lot of games mostly in the western U.S. I taught first aid classes for the Red Cross for over five years. I have lived in Utah, Nevada, California, Illinois, and Arizona. I lost both my father and brother to cancer. My son, daughter-in-law, and my sister are cancer survivors. I have done a lot of charity walks for the different cancer societies.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon faith. I have always been an active member of the church. Life can be tough and it is through those times that my faith has help me to deal with the challenges of the moment. I know that God lives and he is aware of me personally. I have seen His hand many times in my life and the lives of my family. He hear my prayers and comforts me when needed. I try to live my life so that I may also help those around me through their trails. There is not a doubt in my mind the the princibles of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ are true.

How I live my faith

I am a teacher in my Church. I love teaching. It helps me to constantly increase my testimony. I love to meet new people. I will talk to almost anyone. I love to share life experiences and what I have learned from them to those who are struggling with the same type of problems. I feel peace in my life because I have my family and my church family. Life is good!
