Hi I'm Philip

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, a father of eight, a mathematician, and a part-time farmer. I love working hard with the family on the farm, so that we can go out and play hard in the mountains.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was five years old, two young missionaries came to our home in South Africa. They taught us about God, Jesus Christ, the Book of Momon, and Joseph Smith. They taught us fun children's songs about turning frowns into smiles, and popcorn popping on apricot trees. Evan at the age of five, I remember the Holy Ghost witnessing to my heart that their message was true. That feeling of warmth, peace, love, and joy has abided with me to this day.

How I live my faith

My family is most important to me. I am grateful that through the grace of Christ, our family is forever, and that we will continue our relationship, our love, and our friendship beyond this life. Living my faith means that I continually seek to build, teach, nurture, love, and have fun with my family, and that is my greatest source of joy.
