Hi I'm Janet

I'm a Mormon. I'm a wife. I'm a mom. I'm a sister. I'm a daughter. I'm a National Delivery Fleet Manager.

About Me

I have 4 loud, and confident kids. I have a great husband that supports my dreams and goals. I work many hours every week for a furniture corporation as their National Delivery Fleet Manager, and as one of their Distribution Center Managers. I have worked very hard for many years to get where I am - both in my home, and in my job. My time and energy is spread thin almost every day of the week. Raising successful kids, and creating a successful marriage is very challenging in this American culture. From keeping schedules straight, to finding time to connect with each other. Not to mention fighting the illusions portrayed in the media everywhere. These are the challenges I face. I win sometimes, and I also lose sometimes as well. But everyday, I just keep trying.

Why I am a Mormon

My biggest source of strength is my knowledge that my savior lived and died for me. He loves me and knows me better than I know myself. As I work through each challenge I have in my life ( no matter how big or small). I know the answers I need will come from my Heavenly Father. All I need is to ask. No where on this earth can you find those answers. No where can you find that kind of peace that comes from knowing who you are, and what your purpose here is, and that you are not alone in accomplishing it. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only way I can imagine going through this earthly existence. This is where I have learned how to be the Wife, the Mom, the Sister, and the Daughter I am today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday in small ways -like individual prayer, and prayer with my husband. Also in some bigger ways. Twice a month I have been asked to organize and teach 14 beautiful girls in the neighborhood. all of them are 8 or 9 years old. We come together and teach and learn on all kinds of things - from Jesus Christ and his tremendous love for them, to how they can grow into beautiful young women. I love this group of girls. They are so happy and open to living this great gospel. It is a privilege to be asked to lead them and know them.
