Hi I'm Julie

I love to sew, especially costumes. I make costumes for plays and grandchildren...and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born to a convert mother and a father from a pioneer heritage. Although I grew up in the church, I didn't read the Book of Mormon for the first time until I was a senior in high school. I've read it many times since. I went to college at BYU where I met my husband. We were married for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls temple. I am a mother of 6 and a grandmother of 6. I love my family. They are the biggest blessing I have.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I born and raised in the church, I have gained a testimony of my own through studying the Book of Mormon and praying about it's truthfulness. I know it is the word of God and written for our day. I can see the hand of God guiding my life and the lives of my children. I can not deny His influence and love.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by giving service. I love to help others. I volunteer in schools by helping the teachers. I serve in the church by filling callings. I help others by providing dinner when they are sick, had a new baby. I just finished a month of going to the Spokane Temple three days a week to clean. It was a great experience to have the opportunity to serve the Lord by cleaning His house. I find great joy in helping others.
