Hi I'm Cody

I live in Washington. I am a husband, brother, uncle, mechanic, student, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a positive guy, who likes to be around good people. I really LOVE my wife and I am grateful for her! I enjoy staying fit, eating good food, fixing cars, learning, and being physically active. I haven't always believed what the "Mormons" believed. But I do now, and choosing to investigate The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was the best decision of my life. I know that this church, the Mormon Church, is Christ’s church on the earth today. . . and that makes all the difference for me. I know my Savior wants me here.

Why I am a Mormon

There are a life time of reasons of why I'm a Mormon. I think that the biggest reason of why I am a Mormon is that I have truly had the desire to know what God wanted for me in this life. So I prayed and asked God if this church, the Mormon Church, was really His church. My answer was yes. The peace that I have had in my life once I was fully committed to do His will, and to His Church has cemented this into my heart and mind. That's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I think that the biggest way that I live my faith is the way that I live my life, focused on a direction rather than speed. I feel like my life is a walk of faith (or a "roll" of faith) - like a bowling ball rolling down a lane with the bumper guards up. I live my life bouncing from one bumper to another, but I know that I am moving in the right direction but I need a Lot of correction. Form one day to another, with the doctrines of Jesus Christ guiding my path, I know that I am trying to become more like the Savior daily. I know that when I ask the Lord to help me, He does. Through repentance - that is how I live my faith and how I feel the closest to my Savior.

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

The Temple is like any other really important building in the world. You have to know your purpose for going or visiting and you have to be willing to follow special rules. Think of the Pentagon, or the White House. Not everyone can walk in and walk everywhere. However, the temple is different in one way and that is we want everyone to be able to visit and everyone can, if they are willing to abide by the special rules that Jesus Christ has give us for people that are going to the temple.
