Hi I'm Dan Chadwell

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a retired audiologist. I worked with hearing impaired veterans for 34 years. I am a father of four and grandfather of 12. My wife and I have been married over 45 years. I love reading; particularly historically correct novels. I love spending time with my grandchildren. I serve in the Temple which allows me to come closer to Heavenly Father and understand the purposes of life. I also volunteer my time in several other capacities which has helped me understand my own worth and the eternal nature of life.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe the principals taught to me as a Mormon are true and correct. That there is a God in Heaven; that He loves us. We are literally his sons and daughters and are of great worth. He has given us His Son to help us find our way back to Him. He has set in place a way for all righteous people to come to the Savior. That way is found in learning his message through the scriptures and His word through his prophets, both in ancient times and in the present. I believe that through the blessings of the temple it is possible for all mankind to return to Him.

How I live my faith

True religion requires one to continually practice the principles he or she has been taught. We do not take these principles out on Sundays and practice them but apply them in our lives daily. Living the principles that I have learned have brought great joy in my life. I regularly visit a few members of my congregation who may need special help. I help others at the temple on a weekly basis. I have served as a scout leader and generally a leader of the youth and have received great joy in doing this. I also work with those who have special needs and problems to help them overcome their weaknesses. I volunteer my time to help members be better teachers. I love being able to help others.
