Hi I'm Kim

I'm a wife, a mother, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love doing things outdoors. Such as camping, boating, jet skiing, and hiking. I've lived in 5 states but have visited 17. I love to travel in the US. I am currently an online student at BYU-Idaho and am married with a 1 year old daughter. My family is the joy and light of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family of members and was raised as a Mormon. However I was given the opportunity to attend other churches of different religions before I was ever baptized. I have been to a Catholic church, a Mennonite church and several other non denominational christian churches before I was baptized. I always felt like it was left open to us to decide for ourselves if joining the church was what we wanted. I decided for myself to join because I felt most comfortable in my church. Not because I had gone there for a long time with my family but after seeing the difference of our church to others I was able to note why it was different to me. I felt more peace there and I felt at home. The gospel was right for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my local ward here in town as much as possible. I look forward to church and attending my meetings and when I miss I feel like my week is incomplete and I am so excited to go back next week. I have served in various callings throughout the church such as Young Adult Ward Representative, A Teacher to women 18 and older during our 3rd hour in church, and as a president in our Youth Group. I also try to share my religion and beliefs with others that like to know more.
