Hi I'm Molly

I'm a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother. I'm pretty fun. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in southern California and I have lived in Utah and Texas. I now live in central California. I enjoy reading, writing, singing, exercising, taking pictures, and being with my family. I have a passion for working with children of all ages. Throughout my job history, I have worked with all sorts of children, from new born babies to troubled teenagers. I am the seventh out of eight kids and I have been an aunt since I was seven years old. It can be crazy at times, but I love being from a big family. My husband and I got married in August 2010. We welcomed our daughter to our family in March 2013. She is the light of our life! Being a mom is the greatest thing I have ever done or will ever do. I'm so grateful to Heavenly Father for this opportunity.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my entire life. Both of my parents are converts to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. But I guess all the members of the Church are converts. Although I have been attending this church since I was born, somewhere along the line, I had to develop my own testimony of its truthfulness. I have a testimony that Joseph Smith was visited by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and that he was given the duty of heading up Christ's church on the earth. Through the power of God, Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ. I have a testimony that Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us and that He hears our prayers. He truly is our father and He knows who we are and what we need. I testify that Jesus Christ lived on the earth and that He atoned for our sins and died for us. I know that if we come unto Him, He will provide us a way to return to our Heavenly Father's presence. I have a testimony of the Plan of Salvation, or the Plan of Happiness. This plan enables us to live with our families for all eternity. My father passed away several years ago, and although I miss him terribly, I know that we will see each other again someday.

How I live my faith

There is a program in our church called visiting teaching. Every woman gets visited by other women so that we can get to know one another, become friends, and take care of each other. I love this program so much! One of the best Christlike attributes we can develop is service, and this program gives us wonderful opportunities to serve. My husband and I attend the temples on a regular basis. While living in Utah, we went to the 13 temples there that were in operation at the time. When we lived in Texas for a summer, we were fortunate enough to live near and attend the Dallas temple. There is also a temple right in our hometown of Fresno. Each temple is so beautiful and brings us such a feeling of peace and comfort. I am grateful we've always been able to live close to temples so we can participate in the sacred work that goes on there.
