Hi I'm Wendy

I'm a Nebraskan, a mother of four, a runner, a Dental Hygienist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised here in Nebraska. I'm married to a wonderful husband and have 4 busy, beautiful kids. (Sometimes it feels like more than 4, but it's only 4.) I'm a Dental Hygienist, and work part time. I have always loved the Medical field and it's a great match for me. Smiling is a big deal, and I like to help others do that! (Now, go floss your teeth.) I've recently found a new hobby of running! I love the feeling I get from a good run and it's great for my mental health as well as my physical.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Growing up here in Nebraska I had very few Mormon friends, so it wasn't always easy. I rebelled some as a teenager, but came to understand quickly that all the guidelines, principles and doctrines taught by the Mormon church were what I needed in my life to be truly happy. For me, this is the only way to live. With a knowledge of my Heavenly Father and my Savior, Jesus Christ, and their plan for me. I know that my Savior died for me and Lives for me today. Being a Mormon brings so many blessings into my life. Blessings for me and my family now, here on earth, and blessings that will come as we live as an eternal family. Nothing is more important to me.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith just by being me. I hope that those around me can see that I'm trying to be an example of my Savior, Jesus Christ, in all that I do. I teach my children about their Heavenly Father and Jesus, and teach them to have high moral standards. I work with the young women of the church. The youth of the world need God in their lives. They need standards and guidelines. I help to show them the way to live and celebrate their accomplishments! I also have been known to show my dancing skills at the youth dances! I participate in Church productions and choirs, as well as many other activities. Being a Mormon isn't just a "Sunday" thing. It's my life! I love it and I wouldn't have it any other way.
