Hi I'm Ann

I grew up with seven siblings in Provo Utah. I am a piano teacher and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Provo Utah with a large family. There are ten of us. I loved growing up in a big family, there was always something going on. My siblings are my best friends and I would do anything for them. Six of the eight children are married and I have 20 nieces and nephews. I am very happily married to a wonderful man named Brian and we have an adorable little boy named Romney. They are my world, I love my family. I have a bachelors degree in music with an emphasis in piano. I am a piano teacher and love to help that talent grow in others. It is a joy to see the light turn on in others when they understand what I am teaching. This wonderful Gospel that is in my life has given me these great blessings for which I am so grateful for.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member my whole life. I was born into an LDS family and was baptized at eight. I knew as I grew older though that I needed to figure for myself if this church was true church of Jesus Christ. I had been taught very well by my parents. They have very strong testimonies of this Gospel, but I needed to know for myself instead of relying on my parents knowledge. I searched the scriptures, The Book of Mormon, which is another testament of Jesus Christ, and the Holy Bible. I also prayed to know if what I had learned my whole life was true. It took time, but slowly over time and many small tender moments with the spirit, I have grown a strong and firm testimony is my Savior Jesus Christ. I know he lives and I know that this church is his church. I know that to be true by the witness of the Holy Ghost. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

One of the wonderful things about this church is the opportunity to serve. I am currently serving, working and helping the young women in our area. I love women of this age, they are so full of life, they are figuring out who they are, and at this time they are figuring out who and what is most important in life. Each Sunday we meet together and talk about the gospel and how we can apply the Saviors teachings into the young women's lives. As the leader over these young women I encourage them and invite them to live that week the teachings that we learned, to make their lives better. We also plan fun wholesome activities outside of church where we can become closer friends and create new ones. We encourage daily scripture study and prayer so that the Savior's spirit will always abide with them.
