Hi I'm Craig Perry

I'm a pre-medicine student, a music activist, a lover of life and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the Bay Area of California where I lived an active and full life with my parents and 4 siblings. From a young up through high school I participated in organized sports such as swimming and water polo where I developed a love for hard work and fitness. Growing up I had innate love for music, both the listening and playing of it. I play the guitar, piano and I love to sing as well. I am currently a pre-medicine student at Brigham Young University in Provo.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I read, pondered and the asked my Heavenly Father whether the Book of Mormon was true. As I did so I felt an overwhelming sense of peace and love enter into my heart. Every time I read in the Book of Mormon I feel the Holy Ghost testify to me through those same feelings. There have been times in my life when I have not lived the teachings of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and during those times I have felt an emptiness in my heart and in my soul. But when I have tried to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ as close as possible I have felt the happiest in my life.

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith one day at a time. I believe that Christ came to this earth to set a perfect example and sacrifice Himself so we could all one day become like Him and return to live in His presence forever, after this life with our families. One way that I have tried in my life to follow Christ's example was by serving Him as a full time missionary for His church in Argentina for 2 years. During this time I developed a deep love for the Argentine people as I taught them the Savior's Gospel. As a result I developed a deeper relationship with my Savior as I did what He would have done.
