Hi I'm Caley

I love to play soccer and read. I am going to college and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 6 children. I love to listen to all kinds of music except rap and hip hop. During the summer I am a life guard. I am a fan of Harry Potter and Pride and Prejudice.I also like to read science fiction, fantasy and historical fiction. Lately I have come to recognize and love true literature. I am studying math and statistics in college and plan to continue in the same venue for graduate school. I also want to travel some time in the near future.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As I was growing up I was a Mormon because my parents were. I don't think that I really understood what that meant. As I have grown up I realized that I needed to know for myself if the Gospel is true. I have researched other churches and this is the one that makes the most sense to me. Through my own power and the confirmation of the Holy Ghost I have grown my testimony. I am still a work in progress but I know that with God all things are possible.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living my standards. I choose to wear clothing that is not revealing or super tight. I choose to keep my language clean. I choose to not drink coffee, alcohol, or many popular caffeinated sodas. I choose to listen to good music. I choose not to smoke or do drugs. I choose to go to church every Sunday instead of working. These choices show that I am different and that I will not bend to the ways of the world. I found that by making these choices I was able to have better friends that would help me live my faith rather than tear me down for it.
