Hi I'm Sydney!

I'm a Special Education teacher. I'm a friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I teach Special Education to first and second graders and it's my first year teaching. I graduated from Southern Utah University and absolutely loved my time there. I love to dance; contemporary, ballet, jazz...you name it, I probably love it! I also enjoy anything to do with the outdoors, music, photography or spending time with friends. I've been known to listen to my music loud, laugh way too much, and go dancing in the rain. I love where my life is at right now!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because there is nothing in this world that makes me happier! Everything I have and the way I am is because of the Gospel in my life. I've been a member my whole life, so I've been taught the principles of the Gospel from a very young age. I've tried them for myself and the blessings that come from living them are real. No, it's not always easy. But no matter what happens in my life, I can't deny that it's worth it. This church truly is one of happiness!

How I live my faith

I am in a Young Single Adults ward and that alone provides me with many opportunities to serve. Whether it's doing service projects around our community or doing my visiting teaching, I try to stay as active in my ward as possible. Even though life is busy, there are blessings that come from it. Besides that, I live my faith by making the basic principles of the Gospel, like scripture study and prayer, a part of every day. Doing these small and simple things give me the strength, courage, and positive outlook I need to make it through whatever comes along.
