Hi I'm Julene

I'm a Middle School Chorus Teacher. I'm pregnant with my first child. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have taught music in public school for 16 years. I was single for a LONG time, but got married last December. We are expecting our first baby this December. Everything is going well, even though my doctor keeps mentioning the phrase "advanced maternal age". I couldn't be happier!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Mormon religion, but I haven't always been dedicated to its doctrines. 15 years ago that changed. I was truly converted when I realized how much sense the church makes. If a person needs to be baptized to be saved, provision needs to be made for those who die without hearing the gospel. We do this work in out temples. If God talks to one group of people, and has them write his teachings down, why wouldn't he talk to any group of people that would listen to him? He did, and he does! The Book of Mormon is an account of God's dealings in ancient America. Modern prophets tell us important things we need to know today. I could go on. The church makes logical sense. But more important than that, I am a Mormon because I haved prayed to know the truth of its doctrine. I know this church is true, and I have been so incredibly happy since I fully embraced its doctrine.

How I live my faith

I play the organ for our Sunday services. I also visit teach, where a partner and I go to 2 ladies houses a month to make sure they don't need anything. In the past I have always been involved on activity committees that plan parties for our congregation. I love how the church provides resources and support to help improve the lives of individuals and families in our congregation.
