Hi I'm Jolyn

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Colorado, I am the youngest of three children. I am the mother of 4 children and a grandmother of 4. I love my children and grandchildren so much. We have a child with Down Syndrome that has brought us much joy in our lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert of the church going on 37 years. I was introduced by a good friend in High School. She took me into the Library and taught me about the three degrees of Glory!! I was so excited that I soon took the missionary lessons. It was such a comfort to me to know where I came from, why am I here, and where I am going after this life. I always knew that Heavnly Father loved me, but now I had sure knowledge. I truly have been blessed. I am thankful that my children were raised in the Gospiel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I attend my meetings and try to serve others whenever possible. I always feel blessed when I can help others. I am the Emergency Prepardness person in our Church. We have helped the sisters put together 72 hour emergency kits. We also have a cannery that they can go and can food storage items for their famiilies. This is something that they can do every month to build up their storage. We encorage every family to have a water supply. Being prepared in any kind of crisis is essential.
