Hi I'm Suzette

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Utah, but now live in Arizona.

About Me

I love to garden, swim and read. I'm married to a wonderful man. I love my three children, their spouses and nine grandchildren. I love being a grandma. I'm currently attending school through an online program with BYU-Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel of Jesus Christ has impacted my life in many ways. I have a moral compass that guides me in my decisions. We have a prophet, counselors, and apostles that point true north. I’m blessed with knowledge of the Savior and the atonement that I find very comforting. My children and grandchildren also have a moral compass. The Book of Mormon gives clarity to my life and acts as another witness of the Savior and the Gospel. When I have a question, I can go to the scriptures or pray for answers. I don’t have to worry about drinking alcohol, smoking, doing drugs because I have clear guidance about the Word of Wisdom. I know that my diet should consist of the doctrine discussed in the Word of Wisdom. I can feel the spirit and that gives me joy. I know the difference between right and wrong, between truth and error. When I’m distraught I can ask for a priesthood blessing. I can pray for my children and grandchildren. We have clear guidance about so many subjects—including marriage and family.

How I live my faith

Currently, I am an indexer and family history consultant in my ward. I try to help others. I pray to find answers to my questions. I try to serve. I try to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Suzette
The Bible is a collection of writings of ancient prophets. It was translated by men who sacrificed so much to do so, among them William Tyndale. It teaches me how to be a better person. Show more Show less
