Hi I'm Kevin

I grew up in the United States. I lived 2 years in Ethiopia when I was a child and 2 years in Argentina as a missionary.

About Me

I am a father with four children, 3 boys and a girl. I have a wonderful wife and we love each other and our children very much. I enjoy spending time with my family and learning about my ancestors. As part of my works as a software engineer I have traveled to many different countries and love to see the different cultures.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized in a hot springs into the Mormon church when I was eight years old and lived in Ethiopia. My mother was a member of the church and my father was not. After returning to the United States my father was baptized and we were able go to the temple of the Lord and be sealed as a family for time and all eternity. I served a mission in the country of Argentina for two years. It was a wonderful experience and helped to strength my testimony. I love reading the scriptures and continually learning about the Savior. I enjoy the feeling of the spirit when I am doing the things that draw me closer to my Heavenly Father. I know that following the commandments and accepting the Atonement of Jesus Christ is the only way that I can return to live with my Heavenly Father and family for the eternities.

How I live my faith

I enjoy working with the other members of our church in helping each other grow and strength our testimonies. I am glad when I have the opportunity to serve others in the church and the community to make our neighborhood a better place. I have loved serving with the youth in the Boy Scouts to help them obtain their goals and become an Eagle scout. It has brought me great joy in watching the boys turn into young men during their scouting experience from age twelve to eighteen. They strengthen their testimonies of the gospel in serving others and learning responsibilities as they participate with scouting and church programs.
