Hi I'm Anson

I'm a Husband and a stay at home Father of five. I am a Mormon.

About Me

A few years ago my wife and I had to switch roles, she works outside the home and I am a stay at home dad. I love my family and love being with them so much. It's a tough job making sure our home runs smoothly. I enjoy outdoor activities, such as camping and hiking. I love sleeping outdoors in my hammock.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon home. It wasn't until I was older and had read and prayed about the Book of Mormon for myself that I consider myself converted to the Church. Once I knew that the Church was true, I committed to my Heavenly Father that I would never stop trying to do all that He has asked of me. I have had many trials and struggles in my life so far. I have also had many prayers answered and blessings given to me. Having a knowledge of where I was before this life and where I am going after this life has really helped me keep perspective when trials come my way. I love my family and I want to be with them forever. I know that as I continue to keep the commandments and live the best I can, I will be with them forever.

How I live my faith

I have spent many years working with the Boy Scouts of America. I love the scouting program. I did not have the opportunity to become an Eagle Scout when I was young. Now as an adult leader I get to help others achieve this goal for themselves. I am working with the 11 year old scouts right now. I also serve as the clerk in our Ward (congregation). I enjoy attending service projects. For some reason it is more enjoyable to work hard on other people's to do list than my own.
