Hi I'm Rick

I live in Arizona with my wife and four kids. I'm a Physician Assistant and I treat pain all day and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy my role as a Physician Assistant in a pain management practice in Arizona. Being able to help others alleviate physical pain is rewarding. Having been through accidents and having dealt with pain issues of my own has helped me to reach out with compassion to those I treat. I have a loving wife and four great kids. I enjoy writing humor. After all, laughter is the best medicine!

Why I am a Mormon

I am so grateful for the knowledge that Jesus Christ is the Great Healer. No matter what kind of trauma we have received or induced to our souls through our actions or our neglect, Christ can and will heal us. Life is difficult and pain is usually a part of it. But pain usually serves a purpose and can bring us closer to God. I am a Mormon because the gospel heals. The gospel is my anchor in a world of pain and uncertainty. It helps me to understand what the purpose of mortality is here on the earth and living the gospel principles brings happiness to my life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being a good example. I am currently the membership clerk in my ward but have had several teaching callings in the past including primary children. Having children of my own I understand the need to have rules and guidelines for my children to keep them safe. The world is always trying to sway us from our Heavenly Father's rules and guidelines, but if we will follow the path that he has outlined safety and happiness will be a part of our life.
