Hi I'm LeAn

I've lived coast to coast across the United States. I love cake dedorating. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married to my husband for 25 years and we have six children ages 11 to 22. I am passionate about being a mother! Our family has lived all over the United States: Utah, Arizona, California, Maryland, New York and just recently we moved to Colorado. For me, moving is an adventure. I enjoy cake decorating, scrapbooking and dancing. I am interested in history and love to travel to historical places. I enjoy the outdoors especially camping with my family and watching beautiful sunsets.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon has always been part of who I am. When I was ten my youngest sister died. It was a time of great sadness for my family. It was during this sadness that I came to know that Jesus Christ knows me personally and cares about me deeply. I drew strength and comfort from the things I had been taught about life after death and being with loved ones in the next life. It was as if Jesus Christ himself wrapped his arms around me and embraced me with comfort and peace. I have never doubted His reality since that time and have felt Him carry me through the heartaches, challenges and joys that life brings me. I feel I know and love Jesus Christ because of what I have been taught from childhood. I know that the complete and full teachings of Jesus Christ's doctrines are delivered to us through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I love to help others. I volunteer in my children's schools and classrooms when ever possible. I have always had a role in serving in my church and have done many different things. One of my favorite assignments has been the singing teacher for the children ages 2-12. I love teaching the children songs about Jesus Christ and his teachings. I have recently been asked to be the leader of the women's organization in my congregation. Since I just moved to this area it will be a great way for me to get to know and love the people here. One of the best things about being a Mormon has been that each time my family moves we have an instant community of friends that reaches out to us and helps us adjust to our new surroundings. It has taken a lot of the fear and uncertainty out of moving.
