Hi I'm Clint Ray

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in AZ. I sell granite for a living. I love playing sports. (Basketball, Football, Rugby, and Volleyball. Really almost every sport). I have 2 children (1 boy and 1 girl). They are so much fun. As much as I love playing sports I do enjoy watching most sports. My life consist of Family, work, and Sports. (What else do you need in life... Oh Yeah God! just kidding.) Family, God, Sports, and Work.

Why I am a Mormon

This can be an contraversal question... I am a mormon first of all because my parents were members when I was born. But there was a time in my life when I needed to choose for myself which direction I would go. So I did like all converts need to do to find out if the Church is true. I read and pray about The Book of Mormon. The overwhelming feeling of the truth gives me strength, faith and the greater reason for life. I also have prayed for things and received them or answers to my questions. I know God lives and Jesus died for us. Jesus is our Savior, Redeemer and our Brother. This Gospel teaches that families can be together forever. That is a great blessing and comfort to have and to know that I will be with my family in the next life.

How I live my faith

I live the gospel in many ways. The first way is like the scripture say Love thy neighbor has thyself... I try to treat everyone how I want to be treated. I find opportunity to serve others and go out of my way to help anyway I can. I serve in my church as a leader over the 18+ men (without pay haha). We call this group of men Elders in the church. Really I arrange Moving services and find people to help out at activities. As a Mormon we have the opportunity to be a Hometeaching. As a Hometeacher we visit certain families that we are assigned too once a month and help them whenever they need something. I have 3 families that are awesome and I have grown to love them. I love to serve others and when I do I know that is what Jesus wants us to do.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Clint Ray
We believe that Baptism is the first step to returning and living with God. Jesus showed us the example by being baptized by John the Baptist. We make convenants to help us come closer to God. You can think Baptism is like a Gate when you are Batized the gate is open and you are put on a path to Live with God again. You keep commandments to stay on the path. But of Course no one is perfect and we make mistakes all the time so God has given us repentance. When we repent with a sincere heart and real intent to change we can be forgiven of our wrong doings.
