Hi I'm Josh Pehrson

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in good family where good values were taught. We went through struggles and trials like any other family but it was the strength of spirituality and the depth of the gospel that my parents taught that united us and helped us grow during these trials. I am now married with four kids of my own and trying to instill the same values in my children that my parents taught me. I enjoy playing sports including volleyball, mountain biking, golf, basketball, and football. I also enjoy camping and the outdoors. My favorite thing to do in life is to spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon family where great values were taught, where love for Christ and fellow men were instilled, and where happiness abounded. I adore and cherish my parents for providing such a loving and peace filled home to grow up in a home where we were taught that, in order to overcome trials, you must pray to our Heavenly Father for help, exercise faith in Him, do all you can to receive His blessings, and unconditionally accept with whatever help he is willing to give. Coming from such a great home where there was so much love and happiness, there grew inside of me the strong desire to have the same home for my wife and children. I now see happiness in my home where my children love attending church, praying, learning about Jesus, enjoy reading the scriptures every day, and where their convictions of following the Savior and helping others around them do the same is growing every day. The Lord has truly blessed our home with happiness, peace, and love.

How I live my faith

I am a volunteer leader for the Boy Scouts of America where I teach young boys strong values, leadership skills, and how to overcome difficult trials in life. I am also a volunteer youth leader in my church where I try to help teenagers understand their worth, understand the the truths about their Savior, that He lives, that He loves them, and that He wants them to live with them again after this life in heaven, and to understand how they can bring others to Christ. I do this by teaching them each Sunday and with regular, weekly spiritual activities. More importantly, I do my best to be a good father and husband, to teach my children to learn about, believe in, and to follow Christ, and to treat my wife with proper love, respect, and tenderness that I feel every woman deserves.
