Hi I'm Florencia

I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I was the only Mormon in my school, until my sister was old enough to start.

About Me

I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. I also minored in German. I love computers, and I love to read. I like to experiment with recipes in the kitchen, and I'm a huge fan of soccer!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church, and I cannot imagine being anything but a Latter-Day Saint. It has always resonated with me and I know it to be true. I have felt the Spirit often enough to know when I am doing something right, and I have felt the hand of the Lord protecting me and strengthening me throughout my life. I know He lives, and I am grateful that whenever I need him I can just drop to my knees and pray, or go to the Temple and spend a few hours in total peace. I know this gospel is true, and I am so grateful to have a Heavenly Father who loves me and wants me to return to His presence.

How I live my faith

At the moment I supervise a district of visiting teachers, who are responsible for visiting all the girls in our student ward and making sure everyone is okay and has a friend to talk to. Before that I taught the kids in Primary, and before that I taught the 12- to 18-year-old girls in a Spanish-speaking unit. I was also the music coordinator, which meant I chose the the hymns for our Sacrament meetings, and at the same time I was the camp specialist for the girls.
