Hi I'm Kristi

Mother of 3. I love cooking, reading, and sewing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife and mother of three. We live in and love Texas. The kids and I love to swim every day, we keep chickens and raise a garden. We love healthy food. I love to play and read with my kids. Being a mother is the most important role in my life. Each day I work hard to teach them and share my faith. Sewing is a passion of mine and I have a small business sewing crib bedding. My husband went back to school to get his PhD and we love learning together as a family.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I believe in Jesus Christ and His Atonement and love for me. I believe I am a child of God and that Heavenly Father loves me, I know that He has a plan for me and for my family. I know that we can be together forever as an eternal family. These truths sustain me and strengthen me. I know the other teachings of the Church to be true because of the effect living these principles has on my life. Following the teachings of the Church brings happiness and peace to my life and those around me. I find comfort in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that I can turn to my Heavenly Father and my Savior for strength and for answers. Being a member helps me to be the best person I can be. Feeling the love of my Savior each day lifts me and helps me to be better. Because of Jesus Christ I know I can be better; I am grateful for His example of love and service and try to follow Him each day. When I live the gospel and pray then I am guided in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by passing down my values to my children--teaching them to love the Lord Jesus Christ and their fellowmen. Every day we read scriptures as a family, we have family prayer. My husband and I teach our children about Jesus Christ and His love for us, we teach them of their infinite worth, we teach them to love and help others. These things help us to grow together as a family, to be stronger, to love each other more. When we serve others we are serving God. I strive to reach out to and lift those around me. I have the opportunity to serve in the youth program in our church working with teenagers. Each Sunday I teach gospel lessons to some of the youth, we also do meaningful activities during the week. I love seeing these young people who have faith in God and who try to improve their lives and the world.
