Hi I'm Melissa

I grew up in the small town of Manassa Colorado. I have 3 beautiful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a mom. My favorite thing to do is decorate my house. I would love to soon persue a career as an interior decorator. I guess that will come as my children grow and are in school. My husband is currently attending law school. Laughing is my favorite hobby. Spending time with family and friends is what makes me happiest.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father. I know he sent me here to earth knowing I would see him again after this life. I love to read the Book of Mormon. I feel the Spirit of the Lord as I read its pages. I know it is a gift from and the word of God. I was born a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that God hears my prayers. He answers them. I know He loves me. I know that His church is meant for all of His Children. I know our Heavenly Father wants us to know him. He has placed His Gospel on this Earth for that reason. I am a Mormon because I know that this is the life our Father in Heaven wants us to live. It is His way. It is the only way for true happiness. I know our Father's plan seals us as families for all of eternity. I know family is central to His plan for us. I know my Savior Jesus Christ atoned for the sins of the world. Because of Christ we are able to enjoy all the blessings the Lord has for us. I know Jesus Christ is the Light and the Life of the world. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith daily. I teach my children about the Gospel so they are prepared for life. I attend church regularly and serve the members. Service is most important to me. I try to serve my community as often as possible.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Melissa
Mormon women are awesome. They are fun and happy and friendly. They are the best friends I could ever have. They are righteous mothers who love to serve. They are kind and Christlike. Mormons believe in equality of all men and women. We are partners to our husbands. Show more Show less
