Hi I'm Ty

I am a Baseball player, a Delta Rabbit, a Yankee fan, and I'm a Mormon!!

About Me

I'm 21 years old! I was born and raised in Delta, Utah to a wonderful family! I have the best family in the world!! I played football, basketball, and baseball in High School. I played college baseball in Montana. I am now a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission. I love my mission!!!!! It's been the best thing for me! I've learned so much more about the gospel, I've grown from a very immature boy to a not quite so immature boy, I've made some incredible friends!!! Some of my best friends are those who I have met on my mission! And greatest of all, I have seen others learn and accept the gospel. I've seen it change their lives and seen joy enter into their lives. It's been incredible!! I love baseball! The Yankees will always have a special place in my heart! I love the Utah Jazz! And I love the Philadelphia Eagles! I love to get out into the mountains. Hunting, fishing, camping. Anything to get out into the neatness of nature! Nature sure is neat! I have many friends who I love with all my heart, but my very best friend is my little brother. He is my pride and joy! We are 14 months apart and we do everything together! I love Kid Cudi, The Eagles, Metallica, Modest Mouse, Tim McGraw, Eric Church. I love music! Unless it is classical or something weird like that!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church, but I had to find out for myself if the church was true or not. I was sitting in church one day, not really paying attention, when I had a thought if the church is true. The speaker happened to be talking about praying to get answers and the power of the Holy Ghost. He read from Moroni 10:3-5. So right there in the middle of church, i prayed to know if the church was true or not. I recieved an answer right then and there, that it is true. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church on the earth today!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the scriptures, praying, going to church, and standing as a witness of Jesus Christ. I am currently serving a mission in the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission. I am in the Kenosha, WI area.

What is the Book of Mormon?

It is the best book EVER!!!!!!! The Book of Mormon is another testament of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It contains the fullness of the gospel of Christ. The Book of Mormon is a record of prophets that lived in the Americas. It tells of the struggles, triumphs, and the great faith that the people had in Jesus Christ. After Jesus Christ was resurrected, he appeared unto the people in America. There, Christ organized His church and set his doctrine for those people to live by, just as He did before He was crucified. The Book of Mormon is a companion to the Bible and they work together to bring the truth to the world. The Book of Mormon testifies of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon is the most important book in the world! One who reads it will come closer to Christ and will receive an answer, through prayer, by the power of the Holy Ghost. What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

YES!! We do believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God! While here on earth, He worked many miracles, taught His gospel, established His church with 12 apostles, atoned for our sins, died on the cross, and was resurrected. Christ was sent to redeem us, God's children. Because of Jesus Christ, we are able to be forgiven of our sins. We are able to progress and come closer to God. We are also able to be resurrected and live with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again! Show more Show less
