Hi I'm Josh

I love to sit back and see all that the Lord has givin me. It's joy. I love Baseball and am a paintball fanatic. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Josh. I am from Colorado. At the moment I am serving a two year mission in Idaho! What a great opportunity it has been to be able to share the gospel and teach others about Christ! I love to do things that I'm not good at. I love to Paintball. I love to act. I love to sing. I am an adrenalin junkie. I have grown up loving to have a good time and enjoying the peace that living on this earth brings. When we just sit back and let the good things in life "speak" to us we will enjoy life better and we will see the positive in everything, more. That is something that the gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me realize. I love to meet new people too. My worries and my frustrations seem to go away when I can interact with others.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was just little I didn't have the gospel in my life. My mom and I lived in very humble circumstances, in fact we almost were homeless. My parents met each other and my dad was a member of the church. I don't know where I would be without the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. I would of been down a totally different path and who's to say that I would of even lived to today. I have read the Book of Mormon and have gained a testimony of it. I cannot tell you in words how I feel about it...

How I live my faith

I have had the oppurtunity to share my testimony and to teach. To bring someone to that better understanding that better happiness in their life is amazing to me. I have seen people in very humble circumstances-poverty stricken homes. It doesn't stop them from having a huge smile on their face and being happy. Thats what this gospel does.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

You can know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the fulness of the gospel and the Lords kingdom once again on earth, by praying to your Father in Heaven. Ask your Heavenly Father if what you are learning is true. The Holy Ghost is the ultimate testator and only testifys of truth. No matter what the missionaries or others around you teach you, you can't know for yourself that its true untill you test it out and pray and ask yourself. Read the Book of Mormon and ask your Heavenly Father if the Book is truly another testament of Jesus Christ. If the Book of Mormon is true than everything else falls into place. "... When ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you by the power of the Holy Ghost. " And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things." (Moroni 10:4-5) Pay attention to those feelings of peace, hope, comfort or happiness as you read the Book of Mormon. If you have felt these things, the Holy Ghost is already telling you that these things are true. Show more Show less

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Our Heavenly Father gives us so much and in return all He asks is to pay 10% of our income. This money goes to building the Kingdom of God on the Earth. It goes to constructing temples and churches, to the missionary program, to publishing the Book of Mormon and to education. It is a faith building commandment that our Heavenly Father has givin us, we do what He asks and in return we can witness and experience the blessings that He promises. Show more Show less
