Hi I'm Chad.

My wife and I have three playful boys. I'm also a librarian, a reader, a gamer, and an aspiring writer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work as a librarian, but I'm also an aspiring writer. I'd like to see my own novel on library shelves one day. My wife and I were married in the Bountiful Temple, and we've been blessed with three wonderful children. I like to read, play role-playing and video games, and watch TV and movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a non-religious family and wasn't actively seeking the truth when I found it. After graduating from high school, one of my best friends wanted to share the gospel with me because it was of great value to him. I started investigating the church, felt the spirit, and gained a testimony. At age 19, I took the leap of faith to get baptized. That decision has blessed my life ever since! I testify that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I also know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it is our guidebook for finding peace and happiness in this life. I am so grateful that families can be together forever thanks to the sacred sealing ordinances of the temple. And I know that if we live righteously we can return to live with our Heavenly Father. Anyone who seeks to know for themselves if the Church is true need only pray about it with an open heart. Then, that seed of faith will "swelleth, and sprouteth, and beginneth to grow" (Alma 32:30). The gospel can guide us through the storms of life and show us the purpose of our creation.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being nice to everyone I meet. I try to be an example to those around me, especially my own family. To me, the greatest blessing of the gospel is that we can choose at any moment to change our lives--to improve; to grow; to be better today than we were yesterday. I know Heavenly Father loves me and wants the most possible happiness for me. By following spiritual promptings, I can discover His plan for me.
