Hi I'm Jennie

I am a Nebraskan. I am a wife and mother of 4. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a wonderful family full of love and adventure. Being the only daughter of five, I guess you could say I've always been a bit of a "Tom-boy". I have always loved being active and trying new adventures. During my teenage years and into my twenties I ran my own swimming lesson business, teaching over 500 students for 10 summers. My love for teaching children and physical fitness led me to a bachelor's degree in physical education. I taught and coached in public schools until I was blessed with children of my own, 1 girl and 3 boys. I love all types of exercise including swimming, running, weight lifting, water skiing, snow skiing, and trying to keep up with 4 active children and 2 dogs. I love volunteering in the schools and nothing brings me greater joy than seeing a child smile after realizing they can indeed do something they never thought possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born a member of this church. I love the gospel because it is a gospel of happiness. I have never had to wonder who I am - I know I am a daughter of God and that my Heavenly Father loves me. I know that he has a plan for me, and whatever might come down the road, I have faith that he will see me through.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as the primary president of our ward. Primary is what we call our organization for children ages 18 months to 12 years. There is so much to be learned from our children, I love working with them!
