Hi I'm Madalyn

I'm a wife, I'm a mother, I play the piano, I love eating oreos, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Cache Valley Utah. I attended Southern Utah University were I recieved a degree in Psychology. During that time I met the most handsome, incredible man (my husband). Once my husband finished school in Utah we moved to Omaha Nebraska so he could continue his schooling. We have also been blessed with the cutest baby boy in the whole world! When I'm not chasing my little boy around I enjoy playing the piano, reading, playing games with family, and cuddling up with my hubby to watch a movie!

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents were raised in the church. They would take me and my brothers to church every sunday. Watching my parents I could see the true conviction they had. One night I was feeling very lost and alone. I decided to get on my knees and pray to my Heavenly Father. I pleaded with him to let me know that he existed and to let me know that he loves me! I did receive an answer to that prayer and from that moment on I've had the same conviction that I saw in my parents as a child. I know that our Heavenly Father loves us and cares about us. He wants us to be happy and to reach out to him! The main reason why I am a Mormon is because it makes me happy. I can feel the spirit when I go to church. I feel good inside when I abide by the teachings of the Church! And most importantly, I have prayed to know if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints a true and correct, and I feel deep in my heart that it is!

How I live my faith

My current calling in the Church is to work with the youth. In my opinion it is the best calling a person could have! We plan activities for all the youth in our area! These activities occur every month. Also, we plan and go to "girls camp" each year which is specifically for the young women of our region. I enjoy being around the youth of our church and sharing in their excitment of life!
