Hi I'm Andrew

I am a Father to 3 young kids. I really enjoy road biking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in Utah until I was 12, my parents divorced when I was young so most of my life education has come from my wonderful Mother. I wanted to be in the Army when I grew up but am now managing an auto parts store. I married my wife Mel in the Denver, CO temple during the summer of 2007. I love being married and knowing that my marriage will last for an eternity. I enjoy spending time with my 3 kids, especially when they are happy and smiling. When I get some time to myself I enjoy playing the piano, shooting, and love to go for a nice long bike ride. I recently lost over 40 lbs. eating a little healthier and riding my bike.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family and made the decision to become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I turned 8. I was taught good principles as a youth but near the end of high school I chose a slightly different course. For a few years I ignored much of the counsel I had received during my youth and decided to pretty much do what I felt I wanted. Long story short I ended up becoming a Father at the young age of 19. I never completely lost sight of the Church but at that point decided I owed it to my family to be more. After some painful repentance and counsel by a few Bishops my testimony of the truth of the gospel was rekindled. I'm a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints contains the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that he is at the Head of the Church and provides necessary revelation to us through his Prophet Thomas S. Monson. I know that my Father in Heaven desires that I be happy and only through the Gospel of Jesus Christ may this be accomplished.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to align my life according to the principles I have been taught since I was a little boy. I choose to avoid certain things that may be harmful to my mind, body, or spirit. I love the people around me and try to enrich their lives however possible. At times I struggle and don't do as well as I think I should and just have to remind myself that we all make mistakes and to commit then to doing better.
